PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH
A man called a press conference to teach about parenting. With great passion, he told the crowd, "Children are a gift from the Lord. We must love them, embrace them, and encourage them. Even when they make mistakes, do not beat them. Just hug them. Be good parents as our Father in heaven is good to us."
He quoted Scripture with confidence, but while he was still speaking, his little son of about three years old wandered in. The boy had accidentally poured out a drink.
The moment the man saw him, his face changed. He grabbed the boy and slapped him terribly right there in front of the cameras.
In one moment, he contradicted everything he had just preached.
The Lesson for us as Christians:
The Bible says in Matthew 23:3, “Do what they tell you, but do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.” And in Ephesians 6:4, “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”
God does not only hear our words; He watches our actions. Many of us preach love, patience, and forgiveness, but at home we show anger and harshness.
Children will not remember our perfect speeches. They will remember how we treated them.
As Christians, our first pulpit is our home. Let us not be like this man preaching grace to the world but showing no grace to our own house. What we teach with our mouth, let us live with our hands.
“Love is patient, love is kind...” 1 Corinthians 13:4ff

Every assignment tells a story of service, learning, and impact. Looking back at some of the work done by @MoWT_Uganda@HonByamukama reminds us that even the smallest contribution can make a difference
@HonByamukama Inspected the Masaka–Kyotera–Mutukula Road project today, where the he issued the contractor with a firm 90-day ultimatum to mobilize bitumen and commence asphalt works, warning that failure to do so will result in termination of the contract.
