For those who are confused, contempt of court rules:
(1) prohibit any publication, speech of writing which "creates a substantial risk that the course of justice in the proceedings in question will be seriously impeded or prejudiced",
(2) Apply from the moment an arrest without a warrant is made.
In the Southport case, the arrest of the attacker was made on 29th July 2024, the same day as the incident.
The contempt rules applied until the attacker pleaded guilty, which was yesterday.
The rules would apply to important background information like referrals to Prevent, as that information would potentially influence a jury. All newspapers know this.

The 2 places that claim the most Benefits in the UK are Buckingham Palace and Westminster.
They claim outrageous amounts for parties, discount booze, and billions on endless completely unnecessary refurbishments.
If you hate Benefits, start here.
plutocracy - rule by the wealthy
kleptocracy - rule by corrupt thieves
kakistocracy - rule by the worst, least qualified
But what if it's all 3 -- what's the word for that?
Hard to overstate how catastrophic this is for global public health.
The WHO has helped save literally millions of lives, particularly those of children, from malnutrition, malaria, TB, HIV etc.
Pure callous disregard for vulnerable humanity from Trump - as expected.

The propaganda by omission has reached a new phase.
Now the mainstream media is completely ignoring the freed Palestinians. Because then they'd need to ask why there are so many women and children in Israeli prisons and about the conditions they endured.
Instead they ignore.
Incapacity benefit is just £62.85 per week for those under retirement age and £77.70 for those over it.
The attendance allowance for the Lords is up to £361 *per day*.
Which is unsustainable?

Douglas Barrowman sold a possibly criminal, tax avoidance scheme using an Isle of Man company called Principal Contracts Ltd. The Isle of Man authorities say it failed to file accounts, paid unlawful dividends, & failed to pay £5m of Isle of Man VAT.
Guess what happened next?
This is not an accurate description of events at all.
I was part of a delegation of speakers, who wished to peacefully carry and lay flowers in memory of children in Gaza who had been killed.
This was facilitated by the police. We did not force our way through.
When we reached Trafalgar Square, we informed police that we would go no further, lay down flowers and disperse.
At that point, the Chief Steward, Chris Nineham was arrested. We then turned back and dispersed.
I urge the police to release all bodycam footage and retract its misleading account of events.
Disability benefits are 'unsustainable', the NHS is 'unsustainable' and now the pension triple lock is 'unsustainable', or so we are told. They were all entirely sustainable before the private sector starting looting the public sector.
