I used to cycle and jog down the River Clyde. I can’t do that anymore, as it’s not safe.
Specifically, it is not safe at the Clyde amphitheatre and the area around Broomielaw. The bridges aren’t safe.
Areas where people used to sunbathe - grassy verges - have become encroachingly populated with hostile groups of men. They always move in groups. Some sit on the seats. Others take up rows and rows of the amphitheatre.
You can see vulnerable girls, boys and young Glaswegians in the vicinity of these gangs also, because let’s be clear, Glasgow has always had a problem with vulnerable individuals.
What it hasn’t had however, is the problems with the gangs that we see now, which seem to reflect the rapid demographic change which Glasgow has seen, and the race to the top in terms of our City harbouring illegal migrant men.
Scotland has a problem with silence over this issue, and it comes directly from Politicians. It correspondingly comes from the reinforcing Political elite in all of Scotlands institutions - people who would seem to rather vulnerable Glaswegians come to extreme harm, than face reality.
I tried to officially quantify what I see on the River Clyde via FOI.
Again and again Police Scotland tell me:
‘there are no incident/crime classifications that align with the specifics of your request.’
Or, ‘ in relation to asylum/immigration status, there is no recording field within our systems to gather such information and whilst it may be referenced, where relevant, we are unable therefore to provide any corresponding data.’
The other barrier I come across is cost.
For me to find out if cases involve vulnerable individuals under 18 cost is also a barrier.
Police Scotland do not record asylum seeker status. They also do not record ethnicity in over 50% of crimes, and do not disclose it when recorded.
It has not been disclosed to me once in all of my investigations. It doesn’t record religion. Only recently were they forced to record sex.
It seems to be a system designed to reinforce silence, in the context of the biggest demographic shifts Scotland has ever seen in its entire history.
What the Police do record however, are hate crimes. They record and prosecute hate crimes in large numbers, which I believe stops people speaking up about what is happening in their communities.
How many more people do we need to die, be raped, be tortured or come to other criminal harm, until Scotland and its institutions start to be honest with the electorate?
Of note, the area I’m concerned about is the ‘dispersal zone’ which has apparently used its powers 438 times since March 2026, with 43 people arrested.
The Police know. We know. This institutional silence cannot continue. If people enter our country, and especially if they enter illegally before going on to commit further crimes, then the Scottish public deserve and need to know.
This in not on. Boils my f**kn blood! Showing the dominance eh! The disrespect 😡. People of Inverurie and Scotland stand up for your towns / citys. Enough is enough. Mass deportaitions is a must.
So when Moygashel had a boat on their bonfire there was a media storm, politicians queued up to condemn it, and statements were flying out left, right and centre. The media. The police. The political class. They were all out in force.
Now a bonfire in a nationalist area of Enniskillen has a “Stop the Boats” message on it too, complete with tyres by the way, so I’ll just sit back and wait for the exact same outrage.
Anything less would be unequal, sectarian and downright hypocritical, right?
£11 million was a lot of money to spend on one player but I think Gassama will be worth it. Being the richest club in the country thats short change for us these days.........
He kept that quiet? - SNP prerequisite?
Dornan - Attempted murder when 15! The charges came when he punched a man in the southside of the city. The newspaper reported: A few days later, the police came to Dornan’s work, arrested – & charged – him for attempted murder.
I’ve said before, THIS is journalism.
A must 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 and a must 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚 in my opinion.
“Where are you? Where are the condemnations? Where are the hysterical marches?
@Erin_Molan calls out hypocrisy amongst “pro-Palestinians”
She just nails it.
