@nick5875 I doubt we get ther, but if by some miracle we do, I don’t see a clear advantage to us based upon those matchups. The first three are toss-ups and game four is clearly advantage LA
@Christian_NYYST Of course, but also of course the Yankees never, never let young players play. If it comes down to Grisham and Jones, they will pick Grisham, no doubt in my mind.
@MissYankee I have been watching them since 1963, this year I turn them on with the best intention but shut it off after three innings. Strike out, strikeout, ground ball or pop up. Too boring for words four or maybe five hits a game…..
@LeekNabers No, you bunt the runner to third and expect the next hitter to hit a freakin fly ball to score the run. Oh that’s baseball the old school way, we are the Yankees, we don’t play old school.
@NickTurturro1 Why did they fail? Because they either are in capable of playing the game the way it was meant to be played, or the geniuses who run the team say they know better. You don’t give up an out to move the runner, so what happens? You don’t score.
@The_Bleacherss Don’t get aggravated, he will be gone next year, although I have no expectation Cashman will make the correct choice to replace him. We need a player who can play the position and take an outside pitch the other way, move a runner and hit a sacrifice fly when needed…..
@GODJ2 I used to go to five or six games a year. After they tore it down I did two or three, this year zero, I just hate this monument to greed the Steinbrenner family built.
