@JJ2TIMES13@JackysCornField You're welcome, I don't like saying claims without having evidence already in the back of my head, and I actually checked the tag of forsaken and it isnt listed as horror suprisingly
@JJ2TIMES13@JackysCornField I feel like the game where you are hunted by a monster that sometimes has a giant mutated arm and makes giant spikes rise from the ground can be considered a horror game by some... But I see where you're coming from
@JJ2TIMES13@JackysCornField ...Damnation and Forsaken are the same game, just different names???? Also I'm like 99% sure they just make whatever themes they think their fans would like. Also what do you mean it's not trying to be a horror game?? Are we serious?????
@JJ2TIMES13@JackysCornField I understand that, but again the reason they try to keep it mostly the same is because if you go too far off from trying to make a scary chase, the game might start to lose its identity, that's exactly what happened with forsaken, it's just a matter of sticking to what works
@JJ2TIMES13@JackysCornField While you're trying to sneak around and get things done, when the music starts to build up you aren't meant to go "Oh wow, this bangs!!!!!" you're meant to go "Oh crap, I gotta get out of here", and the unsteadiness of the music is meant to make you panic while you try to run.
@JJ2TIMES13@JackysCornField Having a consistent sounding music style for a game doesn't make it bad, sure it's a good thing to mix things up every once in a while, but the next dbd chase theme isn't going to be dubstep my brother. If the music fits the identity of the game, why is that bad?
@JJ2TIMES13@JackysCornField I'm not bandwagoning dude, you're just objectively wrong. It's meant to scare you WHILE your playing, I've never seen a horror movie where the soundtrack for a chase sounds like the millionth silly gubby forsaken coolkidd skin chase theme, it's meant to overload your senses.π
