Jabulani Khumalo, the founder of the MK Party, has urged his MK Party supporters to vote for and elect local councillors under the new political party, the African Renaissance Unity (ARU).

Khumalo says the MK Party will never grow under the leadership of Jacob Zuma, he claims that Zuma’s primary focus is money rather than building the party. He further alleged that Zuma does not genuinely care about the MK Party and predicted that he would eventually return to the ANC in the near future.
