watching these sub ten minute ones on youtube on an off all day because of this, got inspired to make a supercut of my favorite stuff from this sausage & meatballs ep. guy yelling "GET RIGHT IN THERE" is a highlight to me.
If the GOP, while holding the presidency and both houses of Congress cannot get the Save Act passed, then conservative voters really do have to reckon with the fact that they do not actually have a party that represents them. They just have people who exploit them for money and career advancement.
Director of Research, @n1ckler, will be on the main stage at @OPNEXT2026 on April 16th.
He'll be presenting on OP_SHRINCSVERIFY, a new opcode enabling SHRINCS: 324-byte stateful post-quantum signatures with static backups.
See you there. 🔬
A recent statement by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez illuminates the Marxist ideology which continues to take hold of American politicians. Here are my thoughts.
I was impressed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio's speech at the Munich Security Conference. He indeed addressed a number of particular political issues, but what most grabbed my attention was his stress on the common culture that unites Europe and America. He cited Dante, Shakespeare, the Sistine Chapel, Cologne Cathedral—even the Beatles as expressions of basic cultural intuitions that still inform the West. But he pressed the matter further, insisting, in the spirit of both Christopher Dawson and Pope Benedict XVI, that that culture is grounded ultimately in the Christian faith. It is simply the case that reverence for the dignity of the individual, for human rights, for political freedom, and for equality comes, in the final analysis, from the Christian Gospel. Basic to his presentation was the conviction that Europe and America will truly flourish when each re-discovers its spiritual mooring.
We need a secure, decentralized, denationalized cryptocurrency.
The problem with discussing Bitcoin in this context: It is impossible to distinguish those who believe in it and are therefore invested, from those who are invested in it and therefore believe.
So, you're listening to Roger Ver and, as a anti-establishment skeptic, you think his "bitcoin is hijacked" spiel makes a lot of sense?
You've heard that Bitcoin was "co-opted" by Epstein, powerful corporate elites, the deep state or the US government?
Listen to this.
quantum is not why the whale sold
novo didn’t connect the two. he said it was one reason ppl are claiming for btc weakness, but he disagrees with that (this is clear if you read the full transcript)
he then clarified on bloomberg that quantum isn’t the reason for btc weakness
Activist: "You're using an obscene amount of water."
Farmer: "Am I?"
Activist: "Yes. Thousands of litres per cow."
Farmer: "That's rainfall."
Activist: "But they're drinking it."
Farmer: "It rains on my pasture. The grass absorbs it. The cows drink from the stream. Then they piss it back into the soil."
Activist: "It's still water consumption."
Farmer: "Should I... stop the rain?"
Activist: "You should use it for crops."
Farmer: "The rain?"
Activist: "Yes."
Farmer: "The rain that falls on the grass that cows eat?"
Activist: "Grow crops instead."
Farmer: "With what irrigation? I just told you it's rainfall."
Activist: "Find another way."
Farmer: "To make it rain on crops instead of grass?"
The Northeast is burning oil and coal to keep the lights on during this winter storm. Why?
Because they don't have enough natural gas pipeline capacity.
And they don't have pipeline capacity because they spent a decade blocking every proposal.
Some examples:
Constitution Pipeline (PA to NY): Approved by FERC 2014, killed by NY water permit denial 2016
Northeast Energy Direct (PA to MA): Blocked by Massachusetts 2016
Northeast Supply Enhancement: Rejected by New York
Access Northeast: Killed by MA/CT/RI opposition 2017
The stated reason for blocking? Climate and environment.
The actual result? ISO New England's own analysis: "Oil and coal generators are critical on the coldest winter days when natural gas supply is constrained."
Oil produces 50% more CO2 per MWh than natural gas combined cycle. Coal is worse.
They blocked pipelines to fight climate change. The outcome is higher emissions during peak demand, higher electricity prices, and grid strain.
Policy intended to reduce emissions is forcing the exact opposite.
This is what happens when you make infrastructure decisions based on aspirational goals rather than engineering reality.
Great job you guys!
John Lott ran the numbers. Here they are in clip-and-save format:
Of 170 US citizens detained by ICE, about 130 were arrested for interfering with or assaulting officers, according to the left-leaning ProPublica.
Trump error rate = 0.0067%.
Obama's error rate = 0.0225%. I.e. THREE TIMES THE TRUMP ERROR RATE.
--------------------------
Under Trump, there's been one death for every 18,594 detainees.
Under Obama there was one death for every 14,314 detainees.

Under Trump, the number of American citizens accidentally deported: ZERO.
Under Obama, the number of American citizens accidentally deported: FOUR.

As we wrestle in my home state of Minnesota with the fact of deep corruption in the political and economic orders, I want to draw attention to the “social justice” dimension of this problem. Catholic social teaching has a good deal to say about official corruption, insisting that it undermines confidence in our leaders, compromises the integrity of the institutions of government, and subverts the rule of law. But even more importantly, it deeply harms the poor, stealing resources from them, increasing inequality, and blocking essential services such as health and education. And if the widespread fraud in Minnesota is also present in a number of other states, we are dealing with a massive violation of human rights and a heinous attack upon the poor and needy. This should not be a matter of partisan politics. Rather, wherever this corruption exists, it should be fought and those responsible for it brought to justice.
Wow. 2026 is off to a wild start. Powell claims he's being targeted with criminal charges for his stance on interest rates being out of favor with Trump. He's actually facing charges for lying to Congress (submitted by Rep Luna) and the OMB. Regardless, End The Fed!
“Government has three primary functions. It should provide for military defense of the nation. It should enforce contracts between individuals. It should protect citizens from crimes against themselves or their property.”

@Jim_Jordan Why do Republicans pretend to investigate them, run out the clock and then do nothing?
It’s not the GOP versus the DNC. It’s the UniParty.
It’s them against us.
