The first resistance Indian startups often face isn’t from the world. It’s from Indians themselves.
Not criticism. Not skepticism. Contemptuous disbelief, Denial.
‘India mein? Must be fake?
@Alex1993_ac@GemsOfReplies There are ways to tackle these misdeeds in corporate. Resignation, followed by recovery, or, if the guy is important to the company, he is given a choice to take a cut or work for free for a year. My old org did that.
Raj Tiwana, a Canadian Sikh landlord, falsely and maliciously framed by many as a Hindu objecting to beef, forcefully broke into her tenant’s home, sent goons to intimidate him, and physically assaulted him.
She clearly thought she was untouchable, clinging to the trash mindset that landlords in India can bully tenants and walk away scot-free. But the West doesn't give a damn about your entitlement. She was rightfully dragged off in handcuffs. No lady police needed. No "no arrest after x PM" rule.
Living abroad requires total assimilation, specially respecting the law of the land, yet some alleged Indians export their lawless habits, privilege, and complete disregard for due process. It doesn't just wreck individual lives, it drags down the entire Indian diaspora, embarrasses the nation, and fuels xenophobic hate for everyone else.
@overthinkerdude Absolutely agree! Hired one B-school intern; His college didn't allow coz we were paying 15k and their minimum threshold is 20k.
Btw, it was his first internship in last year. Didn't even know M of marketing.
@GemsOfCricket Many of us don't understand that the competition, job numbers, and other forms of entertainment have increased tremendously in the last 10-15 years; hence, these changes.

Happy National Space Day! 🇮🇳🚀
Today marks the anniversary of the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission in 2023—a moment that made every Indian proud and reminded the world of what India is capable of achieving.
But a legacy is not just something we inherit; it is something we have a responsibility to carry forward.
When I flew to space last year, it was not merely a technical or personal accomplishment. In many ways, it was the realisation of the dreams, aspirations and possibilities of an entire nation. I was fortunate to be the one representing India, but the journey belonged to all of us.
National Space Day is therefore a celebration of both—the remarkable achievements of our past and the promise of what lies ahead.
May we continue to dream bigger, explore further and create milestones that future generations will look back on with the same pride we feel today.
The journey continues.

It’s been 24 hours now…
Vikram-1’s launch still feels surreal.
Knowing just how hard this is, I couldn’t contain the excitement at Mission Control as the rocket we built with so many dreams successfully inserted satellites into orbit — on its very first attempt.
Just phenomenal! 🔥🚀🚀
