SIR Investigation: The mysterious 16.4 lakh voters added to Uttar Pradesh Roll
Flouting the law, ECI has hidden names and details of 16.4 lakh voters added to Uttar Pradesh's voter roll.
That's 18.5% of the total voters added to the final voter roll in the state which soon goes to polls.
And some irreconcilable numbers emerge from SIR in UP...

It is now established beyond doubt that Gyanesh Kumar changed Form 6 illegally and unilaterally.
This is just one more proof of him abusing his position to help the BJP.
He and everyone else involved in this criminal assault on our democracy will be held accountable.
India’s Election Commission will potentially axe more than 130m names from its voter lists—tens of millions of which will be real voters. Many political analysts are calling it the country’s biggest electoral scandal in decades https://t.co/wvpqN3WV57
Brutality unleashed by #DelhiPolice at Jantar Mantar - on women, journalists, Congress & Left party workers, is nothing new.
Now #MumbaiPolice has also been forced to file an FIR against CJP organisers & 500 protesters at Shivaji Park.
But what explains #HyderabadPolice storming the Dharna Chowk protests site at 3pm to - forcing the event to end citing 'time permissions'?
Protests against Gyanesh Kumar should atleast be allowed to held freely, peacefully & indefinitely in opposition ruled states (the last I checked @revanth_anumula was still with @INCIndia)
BLOs allege they were pressured to sign, and say that two men, claiming to be from the Belagavi City Corporation, brought a bulk of Form-7 applications seeking deletion of only Muslim names.

An Election Commission that excluded 48 lakh voters, 33 % of electorate in Delhi in silence with no explanation is today putting out detailed press note on inclusion of ONE voter. Democracy is dead, killed by a criminal @ECISVEEP
Understand how Brahminism works through this incident 🔥🔥
Dalit woman Nishu went to Delhi for a CJP protest. According to her account, a Brahmin youth named Swatantra Bhardwaj brutally assaulted her father and smashed his head, leaving him with nearly 60 stitches.
She alleges that a Delhi minister, Kapil Mishra, along with ACP Ajay Sharma and DCP Sachin Sharma, were contacted and pressure was allegedly put on the police not to register a case against the accused and to let him go.
Nishu kept pleading outside the police station, but her complaint was allegedly dismissed.
In a podcast, the accused is speaking openly about the incident and boasting about the assault.
This is how caste privilege operates: when power, social status and institutional connections protect the accused while the victim struggles to even be heard.
Your caste can become your privilege. This pattern exists across the country.
In UP’s Badaun, a Dalit man, Rajesh, was picked up by Yogi’s police following an altercation at a Bhandara.
He later died in police custody.
The question is simple: what happened to Rajesh while he was in the custody of Yogi’s Police?
But this unfortunate incident reflects a larger reality: Dalits continue to face discrimination, exclusion and violence — both covert and overt.
That is why justice for Shri Mallikarjun @kharge is about far more than one incident. He is an icon of Dalit politics, dignity and justice.
Justice denied to him would send a message of impunity. Justice delivered to him would be a small but consequential symbol of justice for Dalits across India.
