you have no product, no audience, no experience, and $69. you need to be making money by the end of the month or you're going back to the job you just quit.
this is not a hypothetical. someone DMed me this exact situation 3 months ago. word for word. he'd quit his warehouse job, had about 6 weeks of savings left, and found my account at 2am while panicking.
i told him the same thing i'd tell anyone with their back against a wall and a wifi connection:
forget the niche you're "passionate about." open reddit. search for anger. sort subreddits by top of all time and read until you find the same complaint from 5 different strangers with 200+ upvotes each. that's not a conversation. that's a product with a price tag that nobody built yet.
he found one in 14 minutes. r/freelance. 680 upvotes. "why is there no simple template for tracking client payments and contracts that isn't $40/month software designed for corporations."
wrote the solution that weekend. google doc. 13 pages. a contract template, an invoice tracker, and a payment follow-up script. ugly. functional. $27 on gumroad.
set up a faceless account monday morning. no name. no face. one line bio: "freelance admin tools that don't cost $40/month." posted 3 tweets a day about the problems freelancers complain about using the exact language from the reddit threads he found them in.
week 1: 0 sales. wanted to quit.
week 2: 2 sales. $54. almost cried over $54.
week 3: 6 sales. $162. telegram community at 40 members.
week 4: 11 sales. $297. raised price to $32.
week 6: $1,140. telegram at 340 members. added a $197 contract bundle behind the $32 product. 3 people upgraded without being asked.
his last message to me: "i made more in march from a google doc than my best month at the warehouse. and i wrote it in my underwear over a weekend."
he's at $3,800/month now. still the same ugly product with the same canva cover. still no name or face on the account. still hasn't gone back.
i don't know his real name. he doesn't know mine. two faceless strangers and a system that worked because the steps are mechanical, not magical.
the system behind what he built is in the guide. finding the complaint. validating in 11 minutes. writing the product in one sitting. the account setup. the content engine. the backend that converts without you DMing a single person.
free.

$41,200 from a google doc i wrote in one afternoon. the idea came from an angry stranger on reddit who has no idea i exist, will never know i made this money, and technically did all the hard work for me.
here's what he did without realizing it.
he wrote a 400-word rant on r/sidehustle about a problem nobody was solving. 743 people upvoted it. 200+ comments all said variations of "same" and "someone please make this." he was venting. i was reading.
i didn't have expertise in his problem. didn't matter. his thread told me exactly what the product needed to say, who it was for, what they'd already tried that failed, and the exact words they used to describe the pain. he wrote my sales copy in his complaint. the 200 comments wrote my table of contents.
googled the problem to see what already existed. watched the top 5 youtube videos on it. all surface level. the kind of advice that sounds helpful until you try to actually do it and realize nobody told you the steps. searched for paid solutions. a couple of generic courses at $200+. one ebook that covered 10% of what the reddit thread was asking for. the gap between what existed and what 743 people publicly confirmed they needed was wide open.
opened a google doc at 8pm. wrote the answer the way you'd text a friend who called you panicking. no design, no outline, no formatting. just the solution. finished at 11:40pm. 11 pages.
exported as PDF. canva cover in 4 minutes. uploaded to gumroad at $39. posted about the problem from a faceless account with zero followers using his exact words.
first sale: 72 hours later. from a woman in ohio who'd never heard of me, never seen my face, and found the post because i described her frustration better than she could, using language i borrowed from someone else's reddit rant.
that was 6 months ago. same file. same ugly cover. same $39 price bumped to $67 over time. $41,200.
the angry stranger's thread is still up. still collecting upvotes. still describing a problem people have. still doing my market research for free.
this is the whole game. you don't invent products. you don't brainstorm niches. you don't need expertise. you need one angry thread with 200+ upvotes and the willingness to write the answer nobody else packaged.
i wrote out the complete niche-to-product system. how to find threads like his, how to read complaints as product blueprints, how to validate in 11 minutes, and how to go from a reddit rant to a selling product in one weekend.
