We have today received a Response from the litigation department of the HO regarding our intention to challenge the restriction of Dependant Rules especially for those with minor children born in the UK or currently in school in the United Kingdom.

HO’s lawyer has just requested details of those affected and whilst we have almost 30 persons affected, we understand that there are many people out there who were also affected as well.

There is strength in number which is why I am calling on anyone with child(ren) born in the UK or minor children schooling in the UK whose dependant visas have been refused recently to join this WhatsApp group. A large number will make a difference

It is unacceptable that people in the UK are being given passport appointment dates as far as January, 2027.

This issue has been raised repeatedly, yet nothing changes. The demand clearly outweighs the current capacity, and it is long overdue for practical solutions.

We urgently need additional consular services in cities like Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast, and Newcastle. It is not reasonable for everyone to travel to London for essential services.

This is not just an inconvenience, it affects people’s livelihoods, travel plans, and legal documentation.

We cannot keep quiet until it affects us personally.

Earlier today, I was in Ikorodu teaching about 150 aspiring and young entrepreneurs out of a cohort of 300 people, made up of a mix of career professionals, creatives, & business owners.

It’s just like saying:
Epaproditus was sick
Timothy was sick (or had a stomach condition)
Therefore sickness is the will of God. Or divine healing isn’t Gods will. That’s poor theology and logic.

So what is a rebuttal exactly? That everyone who is poor is poor because God actively made it so? That means that all their sincere attempts to make a living has proven abortive because God actively restrained and frustrated them unbeknownst to them?

Note- this is different from saying that God providentially allowed them to be born into poor Countries or families. Even that doesn’t mean God wills that such a person stays poor.

6.There are a lot of times your content is awesome. But you are unintentionally encouraging a dangerous and I dare say unscriptural example. This culture of holding everyone accountable without a clear cut accountability system in your life is wrong. It is high time we knew who you are accountable to. What Church do you attend? Who are you submitted to?

Yorubas, don’t let anyone convince you that we Igbos hate you. There’s no truth in that. YES, there are a few who make hateful comments, but they don’t speak for all of us. We value the unity we share with you. Our history and cultures have long been intertwined.

Think about it—our people move in thousands every day from the East to Lagos and other Southwestern states. Why? Because we feel welcomed. Your hospitality has given many Igbos the chance to thrive, and we recognize that.

Even Ojukwu, the very leader who fought during the civil war, had no personal issues with Yorubas. Over 70% of his properties are in the Southwest.....That should tell you something about the respect and love that exists between us.

Our wealthy businessmen and billionaires from the Southeast? Many of them choose to invest in properties in Lagos and other parts of the Southwest. They’re not doing this out of hate, but out of respect and admiration for your region’s vibrancy and growth.

We must remember that IPOB terrorists are a national issue, not an Igbo agenda. The majority of us Ndi-Igbo don’t support their actions or their rhetoric. Our fight is for peace and unity, not division.
