@RBReich It’s labor correction time. Employers slowly erode employee benefits over time. Eventually a turning point is reached and the labor market seeks to correct.
@RepAOC But, AOC, it’s the GOP way! They pick the one aspect they don’t agree with and use that as the reason to ban the whole shebang. This is how their Small Gov’t ideals work. But, governing takes resources, spending, oversight, all of which they abhor.
@TalkinBaseball_ Silly rule. They should leave it up to the umps to keep a silent count in their head - kind of like what they do with free throws in the NBA. It's enforced when the player abuses it consistently.
@neiltyson Sure, assuming space aliens have evolved beyond deity worship. Maybe, their race eventually killed off everyone who believed in a diff god and there’s only 1 left. Then, they might just be sitting around waiting for us to do the same & then pounce. They’re Krill. @TheOrville
@SONTSeattle Yes but we need to draft a top QB anyway. I doubt we’ll get Stroud but there are others this year and next. Geno is very smart and can be a great mentor.
With all the injuries to key players this season, a valid case has already been made for an 18-game, 21-week season but the @NFL muckity-mucks just can’t see the solution through their own imbecility.
I don’t buy the “Life begins at…” argument. Life is life. It doesn’t stop and start. What they’re really arguing is when life becomes “human” with all the inherent qualities thereof. Religion attempts to “define” it within the confines of doctrine but it cannot be done.
@MarinersONtap 2, imho. The stupid shift rule next year will help AVGs but that just encourages pull hitters to pull more. Batting coaches need to teach players to hit to the opposite side and the stupid shift rule will be moot. Hitting in baseball is generally awful right now.
