Bazz Jimenez is now listed as a graduate assistant as part of FSU’s staff.

Jimenez was a member of the 2020 recruiting class — one of the top catchers in the state. He suffered a bad arm injury in ‘21 that he could never fully recover from.

He graduated from FSU last spring.

Congrats to AJ Shaver who has been named a 1st Team All-State selection. Shaver was the Bucs leading hitter in 2023, setting a new program single season record with a .403 average while ranking in the top three in the state in doubles (24), home runs (19), and stolen bases (28).

Bazz Jimenez will be making his first career start today in his third year at #FSU. Suffered a major arm injury in the 2021 preseason that took away his whole freshman year and lingered through last season. Kept grinding and gets the Opening Day start in 2023.
