[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@CPC_HQ If the CPC made immigration their single issue they'd probably stop sucking so bad in the polls.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@mitchellhynes No mkb?

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@MPelletierCIO Time to start fracking

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@EricDLombardi Just move sports gambling off phones. There's too little friction involved.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@Afinetheorem The universities should consider why they needed legions of international students in the first place.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@retrobinkie @Anthony__Koch OPs exact words are literally "No one pays into OAS."

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@retrobinkie @Anthony__Koch OAS is an entitlement program that rests at the whims of voters and policy makers. It can be taken away from anyone at any time. 'Pay into' implies ownership, which is not how OAS works. No one is owed OAS. CPP is 'payed into', is owed, and cannot be taken away.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@retrobinkie @Anthony__Koch Can you pay into something the government can cancel tomorrow? It's not CPP. The government doesn't owe anyone OAS. It's an entitlement granted by voters.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@AmazingZoltan @Anthony__Koch This is also true for literally all government expenditures and doesn't properly address why the 'I paid into it' crowd is wrong. They believe they're owed something in the same way as with CPP, which they're not.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@ShannonBDouglas @MusicVersa @Anthony__Koch OAS comes out of the general budget. The disbursements are set by policy, not what taxes people pay. No one 'pays into' OAS. It's a program that could theoretically be increased/decreased or eliminated completely. 'Paying into' implies you're owed something.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@Dubz_has_Tweets @DavidSpiegel17 @realEstateTrent You're saying that your opinion is right and other opinions are "mental gymnastics". You aren't engaging the idea on merit.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@BenMulroney Ben I think the broader issue is that they show no such deference to lefty pet issues.

On those, they are certain.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@ottbrocj @BenMulroney I think people would respect CBCs position a lot more if they didn't have insane double standards.

When it comes to defining a terrorist it's unlimited doubt, unlimited deference. For any lefty pet issue it's 0 doubt, 0 deference.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@KonstantinKisin This has got to be one of your worst takes.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@CanuckoftheEast @jleighton22 @CoopTory The original post claims millionaires shouldn't get OAS. Either you disagree or you're wasting gas. Perhaps you should read OPs post more slowly and decide whether you agree or not. Or maybe you're just wasting everyone's time.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@CanuckoftheEast @jleighton22 @CoopTory Jfc dude. You're advocating for people who live paycheck to paycheck to fund millionaires. Get a grip.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@CanuckoftheEast @jleighton22 @CoopTory That's not relevant to the original post, which points out that millionaires can get OAS, which is true. Do you understand the distinction between wealth and income?

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@jleighton22 @CoopTory @CanuckoftheEast The original post said millionaires can get OAS, which is true. Your comments about income aren't relevant.

[Adam Williams @BigelowBlue]

@jleighton22 @CoopTory @CanuckoftheEast OAS doesn't test for wealth, it tests for income. Millionaires can get OAS.
