@RealPaulPutner Check out the Robin Smith covers book from @Rebellion - explains how it was last-minute cos of the gum and so Smith’s usual guide-sketch had to basically become the cover. His original sketch is better, as he now admits
@BorisJohnson You know that all they’ve done is axe the term because you failed to do any such thing & the words are tainted as a result. I hope they DO axe your version of Brexit; oven-ready to make it harder for UK to trade with Europe. ‘Drift backwards? Hope so; to when the UK wasn’t f***ed
@AVFCOfficial Worrying to hear SG say “We’ve got an honest group”… scarily reminiscent of David O’Dreary’s constant reference to his “honest bunch of lads”, which was a euphemism for the team being unremarkable
@JamesDuddridge are you kidding?! You think Johnson is still “electoral magic”. Read the room. Smell the coffee. Ask some members of the public! If you really want to go down with the ‘good’ ship Boris then go right ahead! The smart money would be on extricating urself. Backbone?
@NadineDorries You are ridiculous. Hanging on tight to the Boris Train cos you know damn well no decent PM will have you anywhere near Cabinet. Shame on you. You care less about this country than Corbyn - and that’s saying something. Think about that…
@coffeenumber1 Just stood in your Bridport branch while all three members of staff chatted and completely ignored me - even after I said excuse me three times. I voted with my feet. Damn shame, as it’s an excellent chain
@NHSDevonCCG Is this for anyone in Devon? Girlfriend just booked online (after days of queuing!) & has been given January 10th!!! Bit after the horse has bolted… lives Uplyme. Is Barnstable nearest walk-in???
@Nigel_Farage You usually talk absolute nonsense. But in this you’re half right… the crisis is real; and also expedient for a desperate PM looking for a distraction
@wagamama_uk Hugely surprised that discounts weren’t provided at Exeter today following massive lunchtime disruption with fire alarms. Not staffs’ fault, I but was amazed when bill wasn’t reduced, after leaving our lunch to cool down twice! I even left a tip! Disappointing…
@Tesco just been msg (at 1849) to tell me my order isn’t coming, offering me the option of collecting from Seaton by 1900?! Is this a joke?! Suggested I reorder and book another a slot, and that my existing order will take up to 5 days to be refunded. I’m furious. NOT ACCEPTABLE
@FraserNelson Okay, the numbers might not be “unarguable”, but clearly lives would’ve been saved if we’d locked down earlier. “Please don’t go to the pub” was never going to work and 7 more days with the. It is spreading as it was of course led to more infections and deaths.
@RichardBurgon Really?! “Backed by a large number of voters”… that didn’t vote for Labour in the previous two elections?! Corbyn wasn’t the solution and neither were his policies. Starmer needs to sort things, but listening to you, you dullard, certainly won’t help!
@roonlabs 2nd time in 2yrs that volume slider went to max on its own and wouldn’t go down. The volume is so loud it disorientates & instead of pressing pause I race to speakers to power off (Meridian M6s). My ears are aching; last time it happened they buzzed for weeks. Thoughts?
