@therealmissjo So important we get this message out there - they are increasing the control and complication of our lives all for power and money ⚠️

There should be free parking for a few hours - they’re our towns.

They have free car parks in Scotland and France - it encourages you out.

@therealmissjo I hate the apps and I’m only 40… Not because I cannot use them, or do not have the technology, but because they are hugely inconvenient for people parking just once, often reliant upon a patchy signal, and only exist to save the car park operator money, not the consumer. Booo…

@therealmissjo I think everyone finds those ghastly parking machines a pain. People used to enjoy handing their parking tickets over to other drivers if they had time left on them. Now, such simple sharing pleasures are sacrificed at the altar of corporate greed and punitive technology.

@therealmissjo @worldgoneloopy Anyone in receipt of state pension should be able to register the number plate of their vehicle for free parking in any car park (especially hospitals). Perhaps issue them a permit similar to the blue badge scheme.
