Alcuni fatti che accadono in questo Paese ti fanno cadere le braccia; ti chiarificano l'esistenza di un declino culturale enorme, profondo, continuo.

Poi però ci sono altri fatti che ti fanno sperare in qualcosa di diverso. Uno di questi è sapere che ieri a Napoli, al San Carlo, c'era così tanta gente ad ascoltare Barbero che hanno dovuto mettere un maxi schermo per dare modo ad altre 400 persone di sentirlo parlare. Ancora di più: erano quasi tutti giovanissimi.

C'è chi rema verso il crepuscolo, ben conscio che in un sistema degradato, dove le persone hanno meno mezzi e strumenti, si possono fare affari d'oro (specialmente in politica). Ma c'è anche chi rema dall'altra parte, verso mete albeggianti. E lo fa anche con un certo vigore.

Over 20 people have been injured. All the injured are receiving the necessary assistance.
The rescue operation is ongoing, and I thank everyone who is helping our people.
