@RasslinGrenade Both matches at MSG were DUDS. Neither would put the other over. The moves, chemistry, etc. just screamed of 2 guys not willing to lose clean. At HH/RF 1 at MSG, Flair walked-in briskly with a scowl, instead of the flamboyant entrance.
The entire series was DQs and CORs 👎
@AlexEskina@goldbergkc For many owners in all sports today, they’re in it to raise the value of the franchise. Winning is secondary.
The K is perfectly fine, but that’s why they’re pushing so hard for a shiny new stadium… team value. The location & fan inconvenience aren’t factors. Just build it.
@SleeperRoyals TRUE: They would have to go 61-45 in the last 106 just to get to 83 wins… which might get a wild card spot.
Can’t see that happening without major offensive upgrades. Too much stress on the pitching staff with this light-hitting lineup.
@Royals SOMEBODY (or EVERYBODY) needs to be fired. 13 straight losses to the Yankees, outscored at home 26-4 in this series, & 2-7 on a homestand. 🤮
I liked “Q”, but there’s no fight or energy on this team. Everyone other than Witt & Salvy are passengers. SEND A MESSAGE !!!
@KevG163 I love Brent, but his cringiest moment was talking about the Miami players teaming up with law enforcement to talk to kids about avoiding drugs and gang violence….. “for many of the Miami players, it was the first time they were in the FRONT SEAT of a squad car.” 👀
@jzulgad@DevilsOfYore I agree. I’ve always thought they would all eventually link up in Detroit, having spent so much time there on the U.S. development team.
