I don't think Joe was trying to a elicit a position-by-position comparison. Instead, I think he was trying to give people a sense of his excitement for the upcoming season in the clearest and easiest-to-understand (for most) term possible.
"I'm going to say it right now; the Bengals are winning that division and I'm not going to be surprised if the Bengals not only make it to the Super Bowl but win the Super Bowl." @stugotz790 on the #Bengals acquiring Dexter Lawrence.

If the @Bengals just did what the Ravens did they would be piled on today as the worst organization in sports history by @TheHerd and other national voices. But let one of the “best” organizations pull a stunt like this and they will get a pass @pauldehnerjr
19 days until Opening Day.
If Joey Votto retired after 2021, he would've finished his illustrious career with a .300/.400/.500 slashline.
Even with his final two seasons, he still slashed .294/.409/.511 across over 2,000 games.
"I want to be talking about the Bengals & the Super Bowl"
With Trey Hendrickson leaving the #Bengals, @AdamSchein believes this is a good opportunity to improve their team and their Super Bowl hopes.
Broadcasting legend Al Michaels on his favorite athlete to cover:
"PETE ROSE was balls-out in a spring training game and the seventh game of the World Series. I covered him under both circumstances."
The reason it was packed to go was because he ordered at the checkout station. If you want to eat there you sit down and wait to be served by a waitress. She should not have been rude but he was doing things out of order
This man was always excited about Skyline Chili, he’s heard from co-workers how good it was and always wanted to. On his day he happened to be in the vicinity of one and decided to try it out. Immediately when he walked in, he wasn’t greeted at all, in fact they ignored him. The cashier that begrudgingly took his order seemed forced and was bothered by having to serve him. He felt like they made it a point make him feel unwelcome.
He ordered the food for dine in, waited a while for it and saw that they packed it in bags to go, further emphasizing how not welcome he was, determined to get the full experience, he sat and ate. He noticed his food was intentionally watered down and disgusting. He was very underwhelmed by this. He was still so upset about being treated so poorly, he left his food and left the restaurant. Would you have tipped them like he did, after they treated him so poorly?
Great insight from @AlbertBreer on Joe Burrow being the "change agent" in Cincinnati.
Consistently the one national reporter who doesn't assume the worst where Joe and the Bengals are concerned.
