@Bounce_BackLoan @BritishBBank I was on the tide list and got my bbl through Barclays but didn’t remove my name until was in account. Barclays didn’t bring it up so wonder if tide have released list after suspending it? Which is just unreal

@Bounce_BackLoan contacted by starling after they declined me in the mass cull saying they made a mistake due to my mortgage. Anyone else had similar?. No other bank saw this issue and I lodged a complaint with the ombudsman at the time as starling considered the matter closed.

@Bounce_BackLoan BARCLAYS INFO. I received my bbl and had a phone call from the executive dept. I managed to find out that the two things that pushed the process through quicker were emailing the ceo ie the exec dept and emailing my mp who contacted them and made me a priority.

What’s misleading is that this wasn’t mentioned in their t&c’s when I opened an account and applied otherwise I wouldn’t have. How much does having all these new accounts opening help starling...?!

They then pass you to another department and you wait. I waited til yesterday then you get a phone call and they go thru the bbl for u to sign. 24hours later paid. Lots of hoops

If anyone else wants to know what the steps are with Barclays as a sole trader with no business account but use a personal account dm me. Happy to help! Stick with it everyone who’s going thru this carnage it does get sorted...eventually

Rejected by starling in the cull, missed Lloyd’s via Halifax, hsbc feeder taking forever, and last but not least tides ‘list’.I cannot believe how difficult this has been.

@Bounce_BackLoan Barclays just rang from the business team to ask me how it’s going 🤦‍♂️ they can’t do anything as my app with the skeleton account is with a different team, no timescale just they have a back log. So another helpful nugget from them...

@Jits4life1 @Bounce_BackLoan @Chriswill231 If you were using your current account for business at Barclays they set up a skeleton account (although they also try and set up a business account). If you are a new customer I’m pretty sure you’ll have to open a business account. That’s been my experience so far...
