Jenna Haze on Why She Left the Adult Industry..

She opens up about the reasons she ultimately walked away from the adult film industry and says there wasn’t just one reason behind her decision.

She points to piracy and tube sites, explaining that seeing years of hard work available for free became financially and emotionally draining.

She also says the industry was changing in ways she no longer felt comfortable with, adding: “This isn’t what I signed up for.”

Haze recalls a time when the industry felt more close-knit, but as it grew, she says she no longer knew many of the people around her and began to feel “a little unsafe.”

She also discusses the difficulty of writing about her own life, admitting that working on her memoir was “harder than I expected it to be.”

A candid look at why one of the industry’s biggest names decided it was time to walk away.
