As a Husker & Denver Broncos fan I will never NOT compare them. Most of us knew EJ is better but Denver front office can't seem to scout a franchise RB for quite some time.

Is it weird that I root FOR Oklahoma any time that don't play Nebraska? Huskers played FSU for the 1st Natty when I was 9 and that comes with a crop of teams I don't like (Miami, Texas, Mizzou, CU). But I've always enjoyed the tradition that Nebraska shares with the Sooners.

Also, was disappointed by some drives stalled by drops yesterday. Seem like everyone had some jitters, hope those connections improve

First Quarter of '26 for @Huskers featured 3 pre snap penalties, a fumble on a handoff, 2 negative plays and a 68yd busted coverage with a sprinkling of missed tackles. Down 10-7 to a mid tier MAC team.

@Huskers are one of the OLDEST teams in the country. Senior heavy, lots of experience. The number of mistakes on both sides of the ball in the 1st quarter is just unacceptable. Not Xs & Os - just poor execution. Could be a very long, FINAL year for Matt Rhule if this continues.

So he's replacing coaches he EXPECTED to succeed and doesn't know exactly what he needs to do to solve it.

Now he's had 3 DCs, 2 OCs, 3 STCs, 3 DL coaches, 2 OL coaches. Best hires (White & Ekeler) left for lateral moves. Rhule thought he solved it & that failed. So now he's in unknown territory, experimenting

@SkersNews Holgorsen deserves the heat. In the last 4 games the offense died in the 2nd quarter. I'm concerned this is the year he gets exposed. Another coach that Rhule expected to be great and isn't (Butler, Sattefield, Raiola). And the ones that could fix it have left (White, Ekeler)
