5/ And charging stops are not interchangeable. "Find me a charger with a Dave's Hot Chicken next to it" is a real thing you can ask it. Thirty minutes is only dead time if the app picked the stop and ignored everything around it.
Since the last one:
-Agent tools. Your AI can search the web and call tool servers, and every call stops for your approval before anything leaves. Arguments are masked first, so a tool never sees what you did not send it.
-Remote MCP servers over HTTPS with OAuth. Connect NorthKeep to Cloudflare, Google, and anything else that speaks the protocol. Verified against the real providers, not mocks.
-One memory across devices. Mark a scope shared on your Mac and it is shared on your phone. Unshare it anywhere and it is gone everywhere.
-The desktop app was rebuilt around a sidebar, and the redaction tool now lives inside Converse where you actually use it.
Free and local: the vault, redaction, connecting your AI apps, local chat.
Paid and hosted: sync and the cross-app connector.
Open source, AGPL. https://t.co/r3juNsPPYR
@elonmusk@Tesla can we please get the ability to save preferred routes into our Tesla navigation for FSD to follow.
Navigation is by far the biggest reason for me disengaging FSD.
NorthKeep update: the partner pilot is live.
Shipped since the last one:
- iPhone app in TestFlight. Chat with any model with your memory attached, everything masked on the phone before it leaves.
- Cloud Connect: your memory follows you into Claude, ChatGPT, and Manus instead of living in one vendor's silo.
- Your AI apps now keep a journal. Every conversation summarized into a vault you own, so your history survives switching apps.
- PDFs redacted on device, including scanned docs. OCR runs on the phone, nothing is uploaded.
Design partners are onboarding this week. A few pilot seats left: family law, EMS, small therapy and advisory firms.

Building NorthKeep: your AI memory in a vault you own, following you into Claude, ChatGPT, and Manus instead of locked inside one vendor.
Everything sensitive is masked on your device before it leaves, with per-reply proof of exactly what was sent.
Mac app is live, iPhone beta launched today. https://t.co/r3juNsPPYR
Just tried @OpenAI โs new ChatGPT voice mode and wow, mind blown. Everyone else has some catching up to do. Finally feels pretty close to a real conversation, awkward who should speak pauses and all.
What I wonโt claim: it canโt make free text anonymous, and thereโs no recovery if you lose your key. Both by design. The full limits are public in the repo. Being honest about limits is the whole point.

Update: NorthKeep is live. ๐
Less than two weeks ago this was an idea. Today the repo is public, the Mac app is signed and notarized, and itโs live at https://t.co/9kMF43GP3e.
What it does: your AIโs memory lives in an encrypted vault on your own machine. You decide what each app can see. And when privacy has to be absolute, you chat through NorthKeep and sensitive details are stripped before anything leaves the device.
I started building something.
Every AI you use is building a memory of you. ChatGPT has one. Claude has one. None of them are yours โ you can't read them side by side, move them, or prove what they contain.
Northkeep is my answer: a memory vault that lives on your machine, encrypted, that any AI can use and none can own. Open source, open schema.
Day 1 shipped the vault core. Five memory types, provenance on every entry, encryption that requires both a passphrase and a device key โ a stolen vault file is just noise. Export is always human-readable JSON, so your memory is never hostage to my software. The test I care most about: seed a fake SSN into the vault, then grep the file for it. Zero hits.
I'm a firefighter/paramedic by trade, not an engineer. I'm building this nights and weekends with Claude Code, in public โ including a KNOWN-LIMITS doc, because a privacy product earns trust by stating what it can't do.
Follow along. Weekly ships. If it fails, you get the honest postmortem and I keep the education.
Vail Resorts ($MTN) likely to open tomorrow down to where if you invested 10 years ago youโd have done as well putting your money in a hole. Itโs time for a change to become more asset-light, sell off resorts, and allow character and differentiation to return to skiing.
