The US government banning DeepSeek AI engines (and all derivative products MADE with DeepSeek) is beyond bizarre. It puts the entire U.S. government in a state of "permanent incompetence" which seems to be where federal government departments are the most comfortable.

Meanwhile, the rest of us will be using frontier-class open source AI like DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 which is a stunning technical achievement that puts U.S. models to shame!
