When we came into office, we uncovered a $12 billion budget deficit.
Today, I’m proud to say we brought it down to zero.
We didn’t close the gap on the backs of working people.
We closed it while funding parks, libraries, safer streets and making historic investments in public housing.
Call it Pothole Politics. Call it Democratic Socialism. It's government that delivers for the people who make this city run.
That’s what New Yorkers deserve. And that’s what we will keep fighting for every single day.
Tucker Carlson speaks out against Trump’s Easter morning “truth”:
“This is a mockery, not just of Islam but of Christianity. To send out a tweet with the F-word on Easter morning promising the murder of civilians and then saying ‘Praise be to Allah’. We can’t support that.”
Christie: The best example of this right now is Lindsey Graham. He is a vapid, vacant human being. For him to say the things he has said about Donald Trump in the past and all he wants to do is suck up and play another round of golf…
John McCain saw Lindsey Graham as like a son. I can guarantee you, he is spinning in his grave watching Lindsey Graham suck up to Donald Trump.
Christie: I think anyone that follows politics can tell there are no principles left in my party. Even for people who agree with some of the stuff the president is doing, if you are honest with yourself, you know it is not based on principle. He wakes up every morning and tries to figure out, what is the best thing for him to do in his self interest that day.
But the real lack of principle is on display every day in the House and Senate. These people have become lemmings.
Ok, Jamie: Let me clear things up for you.
If my 5% wealth tax on billionaires was enacted you’d owe $135 million more in taxes & a family of 4 making $150,000 or less would receive a $12,000 payment.
Oh, and you’d still be worth more than $2.5 billion. Seems pretty fair to me.
OMG you won't see ON FOX News for sure:
French NATO General Yakovleff:
Joining Trump in the Strait of Hormuz is "like buying a ticket for the Titanic after hitting the iceberg"
Reporter: If you could say something to Trump, what would it be?
PA voter: You’re a worthless pile of sh*t.
Reporter: How many times did you vote for him?
PA voter: 3 times. That was my bad. Apparently I’m an idiot.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.
Senator Tuberville’s post on Mayor Mamdani is nothing less than blatant Islamophobic racism.
Not only should Tuberville apologize, but the Republican leadership should strongly condemn this kind of ugly behavior.
We must fight racism of all kinds, not condone it.
