Democratic Socialist, Tory hater ofc. Be under no illusions, random bloke from Blackburn. Bit of a newb on twatter.
Old acc, just facing the horrors recently..
I'm sure many more groups like this will pop up over the next harrowing months and I'll share all those too.
Lets stand together and make some noise, take the fight to these nasty parasites in Gov and show em we're not gonna go quietly in to that good night!

A British surgeon who treated dying and injured children in Gaza says his evidence of war crimes was ignored by Keir Starmer.
Professor Nick Maynard talks to us about his experiences, including how he had to watch babies starve to death after Israel’s deliberate blockade of food, and how Starmer skipped meetings with him and other doctors who had worked in Gaza amid the ongoing genocide.
The UN also released two reports last month confirming a genocide and the IDF’s targeting of children, yet the UK government still remains an ally of Israel and refuses to use the term ‘genocide’ for the years long assault on Palestine.
Professor Maynard also shares his experiences in a new film, Life Support. Find a screening here:

This is properly insane: quite literally the worst example of censorship I've ever heard of anywhere.
I checked the actual ruling (which you can see here: https://t.co/dBKFWZ2ZWm) and, to be clear, it isn't just censorship in the conventional sense - blocking access to a website or removing content from platforms - this is the criminalization of information relayed by private citizens, with prison sentences attached.
And the most insane aspect if that it does NOT matter if the information relayed is accurate or not. It just matters that it originates from RT or other media outlets banned in the EU.
In other words, truth isn't a defense anymore in the EU, it literally doesn't matter. It's purely based on the identity of the speaker.
The ruling is actually explicit about this: the regulation, quoted by the Court says that the prohibition applies to "any content," and they draw no distinction based on what the content actually says. If it originates from banned outlets, it's banned.
It is, quite simply, a complete unraveling of the entire post-Enlightenment legal and philosophical project where entire generations of Europeans fought to move from "who says it" to "is it true" as the operative question.
Think about the absurdity of it: if RT publishes a video saying the sky is blue and you share it on a publicly accessible website in the EU, you'd fall within the scope of this ruling, making you liable to criminal prosecution.
Completely and utterly absurd. But that's the EU today for you 🤷
There's a reason the empire invests so heavily in stories about people who had nothing and built something.
Not because those stories are common.
Because they need to remain plausible enough that everyone holding their small "little savings, little security" believes their own modest stability is the foundation of something larger, something that could grow, something worth protecting rather than something worth burning down to build differently.
You don't organize against a system you still believe might reward you.
You organize against a system you have concluded will never reward you.
The empire's job, then, is simple in its outline and brutal in its execution: maintain just enough plausibility in the reward, for just enough people, for just long enough, that organized refusal never gets the critical mass it needs.
It has done this job for a very long time.
It is, in its way, the most successful management operation in human history.
Israelis Invaded Lebanon And Then Cried Victim When Their Soldiers Got Killed
From all this melodramatic garment-rending and victim-LARPing you’d assume the four Israelis were killed in their beds in Tel Aviv, not traveling by tank through a foreign country they’d invaded.

Our new Delete Genocide Tech campaign is calling for an end to contracts held by the gov, councils and unis with Cisco, Oracle and Palantir, which are enabling Israel’s atrocities against Palestinians.

Anyone wondering why I'm criticizing Israel a lot today...
Your Defense Minister just said this:
"We have flattened the entire first line of villages in southern Lebanon, all the houses have been destroyed. The residents will never see them standing ever again. The 200,000 Lebanese residents who were in the 'security zone' are never returning again. Not one of them will ever return to southern Lebanon"
Your Minister of National Security said this:
"For every tear of an Israeli mother, a thousand Lebanese mothers must weep. All of Lebanon must burn."
And that's just today. You think this is normal?

This dangerously authoritarian surveillance is a threat to our privacy and freedoms — it has no place on the streets of Britain.

The human species has essentially been transformed into a giant profit-generating machine for corporations.
Under capitalism, humanity exists to serve the interests of the corporation. We are all livestock; beasts of burden used to carry margin expansion forward from quarterly statement to quarterly statement. Enjoyment of life has no value other than the extent to which it can be used to increase the net worth of the shareholders.
That’s why everyone’s so unhappy. We’re not living with purpose. We’re not working together to build a better world and a better future, we’re just pulling levers to turn gears to make the arrow line go up on the graph in the conference room. It’s a hollow, pointless way for people to live.
It makes our whole culture vapid and soulless.
Music is made to be as profitable as possible, which means giving it the broadest possible appeal using formulaic song structure calculated to cause a chemical response in the largest number of human brains.
Movies are designed to draw the largest possible box office revenue at the lowest possible risk to studios and investors, often by just rehashing a movie that’s already proven successful in the past or by slapping together a story about an IP with pre-existing mass appeal.
Food is made to be fast and addictive rather than nourishing.
Healthy human connection has been commodified as social media intertwines with friendships and dating apps insert themselves into the development of romantic relationships.
Human sexuality is being warped and twisted as internet porn normalizes violence and degradation for the maximum number of clicks.
Attention and engagement have been monetized, creating an information ecosystem dominated by conflict and gossip designed to appeal to our baser instincts.
Advertisement is injected into every possible corner of our waking sensory experience, with any available space where the eye might rest or the ear might listen being flooded with psychological manipulation compelling us to consume. They’ll start running commercials in our dreams the instant they have the technology to do so.
You spend eight hours at the office working to generate corporate profits, then you come home and consume products to profit other corporations. You need your beer and snacks to unwind, your streaming services and social media to distract your mind from the stress of it all, your online clothing purchase to try to feel good about yourself, and your prescription drugs to get to sleep at night. People live their entire lives like this.
And that’s those of us who are lucky enough to be living in the global north. In the global south you get wage slavery and exploitation with far more toil, far less relaxation time, and no cheap products made by impoverished workers on other continents with which to comfort yourself.
All of humanity has been roped into this mess. And for what? To make the numbers in some bank accounts increase. To get some green arrows pointing upward on the stock exchange. To enable a few billionaires to buy islands and elections.
All while destroying the biosphere we all depend on for survival.
This, we are told, is the best possible system we could possibly be living under.
I personally do not believe this is true. I personally believe we can have better. Those who benefit from this current arrangement are going to assure us it’s impossible and do everything they can to stop us from changing it, but we do have the means to reclaim the wealth, dignity and happiness that they have stolen from us.
They built this whole machine on our backs. All we need to do is stand up.
FYI for our haters: I know you want @zeteouk to fail but in less than 72 hours since our soft launch, we have over 20,000 subscribers in the UK, a big chunk of them paid (double our target number).
To our supporters: thank you, and it's a great start, but we still need many more subscribers to compete with the mainstream media. Tell your friends, colleagues, family members; share the subscription link on your socials, far and wide. Let's change and improve the British media, together.

This is what the UK spyware proposal means.
There must be government spyware on every mobile device. It shall watch everything that happens, including always watching the screen, looking for things the government disapproves of.
When anything is flagged by the software as something the government doesn't like, the software must block it from being sent or displayed (in realtime).
The user of the device must not be able to shut this watching and blocking off. The only way to shut it off would be to ask the government or its proxies to do so for you, at their discretion.
Therefore the whole device must be locked down. Administrator rights and the decision of what software or operating system to run or not to run must be taken from the owner/user and handed to the government and its proxies.
Apple and Google are themselves working hard to lock down the devices they are involved in to shut out competition and establish a duopoly.
The UK government says it is "working closely" with Apple and Google and currently they synchronise and coordinate their communication on this subject.
The UK government is now proposing to mandate what would otherwise be illegal anti-competitive practices.

RT if you stand with Charlotte Church and Palestine.
Most people assume that if the NHS needs more specialist doctors, the Government would train more of them.
But that’s not actually what’s happening.
The Government can decide how many specialist training jobs exist each year. They can increase them, reduce them, or remove them entirely. These numbers are a political decision.
So when the Government removes 1,000 future NHS specialist training jobs, that is an active choice to have 1,000 fewer future NHS specialists.
That means fewer potential radiologists reading scans.
Fewer potential surgeons doing operations.
Fewer potential anaesthetists running theatres.
Fewer potential psychiatrists and GPs seeing patients.
At a time when waiting lists are in the millions and patients are waiting months or years to see specialists, the Government has actively chosen to reduce the number of future specialists.
That doesn’t just punish doctors. It punishes patients and the NHS as a whole, because it means fewer potential specialists and longer waits in the future.
And the most concerning part is why this happened. These training jobs were discussed in the context of negotiations with doctors. That means specialist training jobs, and therefore future NHS specialists, were being treated as something that could be added or removed depending on whether doctors accepted Government terms.
That is not workforce planning.
That is using future NHS specialists as leverage.
The Government can create more NHS specialists if it wants to.
It can reduce waiting lists faster if it wants to.
It can train more doctors if it wants to.
Yet they’ve chosen not to.
This was a political choice that this Labour Government have made.

BREAKING.
Israel is blowing up entire civilian homes in Naqoura, South Lebanon right now.
Civilian homes.
No military target.
No justification.
Just pure terror and destruction.
This is a war crime in broad daylight.
And the world watches in silence.
Tesco could pay every worker an extra £10,000 and still make a profit.
British Gas could pay every worker an extra £35,000 and still make a profit.
Shell could pay every worker an extra £300,000 and still make a profit.
It is the billionaires who are ripping you off.

For the first time, the U.S. Army tested a PRSM missile in Malard, Iran
A weapon that detonates mid-air, releasing thousands of deadly fragments
And as a result, 21 Iranian teenagers who were simply playing in their neighborhood lost their lives…
IDF soldiers went building to building destroying every house and ensuring everyone is dead, including animals and children.
They did this for almost 3 years. Repost this.
Let the world see them for what they are.
