@Akhi213dz@desnow__ Hydra c’est pas que Sidi Yahia. C’est le quartier des ambassades et oui il est le plus propre mais c’est pas la bourgeoisie à gogo c’est juste un stéréotype.
In 1793, President George Washington dispatched a diplomatic envoy to negotiate a treaty of amity and commerce with the dey of Algiers, which was signed two years later. It was a great honor for me to follow in these venerable footsteps by visiting Algeria this week. The government rolled out the red carpet, and I met with the President and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Hydrocarbons, Mining, and Agriculture to discuss substantial investment and commercial opportunities and mutual security concerns, as well as the situation in the Western Sahara. There is vast upside potential to deepen the bilateral relationship for the benefit of both our peoples. We look forward to welcoming the Algerian national team to the World Cup this summer! 🇺🇸⚽️🇩🇿
The Pope removed his shoes in a mosque and people are outraged?
That’s not compromise. That’s basic respect.
If you enter someone’s home or sacred space, you honor their customs. We expect it in our churches. Why pretend not to understand it anywhere else?
🇻🇦🇩🇿 To every Christian supporting Israel's "right" to colonize Palestinian land :
Today in Algeria, a nation that endured 132 years of French colonization and genocide, Pope Leo XIV said :
“Our presence here pays tribute to the spirit of a people who fought for their independence, dignity and sovereignty. […]
God desires peace for every nation : a peace that is not merely the absence of conflict, but an expression of justice and dignity.”
Colonization is a crime, whether in
Algeria yesterday or in Palestine today.
Peace without justice is hypocrisy.
What part of this don’t you understand?
🇩🇿 Le chant de la révolution algérienne « Min Djibalina » a été repris à la télévision iranienne 🇮🇷.
Ce chant algérien était strictement interdit par les autorités coloniales françaises durant la guerre de libération.
