Despite the thoughtless takes on any form of entertainment these days, for tv shows you can see when the cracks begin to form and you can tell when a show has no ending in mind. The Boys neverrr had that issue and that’s fairly evident.
The Boys was NEVER gave bad story or they didn’t know what they were doing… I don’t know where things went left but it’s getting weird (been). The takes you all had were INSUFFERABLE AND EMBARRASSING.😭What happened to fun! No one has any fun anymore 😒
One thing I will never diss about this show is the performances from both Antony Starr & Karl Urban. The fact neither of them have won an emmy over the entire course of the show’s run is an absolute tragedy.
I feel for him because there really seems to be a huge disconnect between what the show is, and what the audience wants it to be despite never once indicating it would be the sort of thing they're asking for
one of the greatest and most memorable portrayals of a villain in recent history, genuinely mind boggling that Antony Starr was never up for an emmy for Homelander
