The NCAA plans to file an appeal in the Sorsby case, source tells @YahooSports, as expected. Several administrators believe conferences and/or schools should file an amicus brief in support of the NCAA's appeal as part of the filing.
@On3 Does the Big 12 have an Anti-Gambling policy?
If so, I don’t see why the Big 12 couldn’t enforce a policy. If not, why don’t they have a policy against gambling?
NEW: NCAA President Charlie Baker on Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby's ruling:
"There is no better example of why targeted intervention from Congress is necessary. When you have schools and deep-pocketed supporters willing to look the other way on the glaring integrity threat of betting on your own team - and judges whose rulings effectively strip away our ability to stop them - only Congress can equip the NCAA to apply this common sense rule to everyone fairly and consistently. The Protect College Sports Act would empower the NCAA to enforce rules including the gambling restrictions - it's needed now more than ever."

@NoahB77_@11point7 A solution could be expanding the post season roster limits. Even with that I think Marciano would have started game 7
If he feels that strongly, I’d like to hear thoughts on SEC tournament. First round teams could play 5 games in short window if they advance to the championship
Everything is hindsight. But I can’t help but wonder how this outcome would have been different with Coach Hall.
He was quick on the hook in regionals, might have been helpful.
Lot of GT dooms dayers on twitter.
GT had one bad inning and OK capitalized. Tip your cap move onto tomorrow.
Best offense in the country, at home, with Patel in the back pocket. Let’s go!
