In yet another back and forth battle, the Crusaders had more huge late innings, defeating East Rutherford (NC) 8-5.
The Crusaders rallied for 10 hits, as @adammaybs led the way going 3-4, with 2 RBIs and a Triple. Both @ConnerCuozzo (2-3, 2 RBIs, 3B) and @reggiewatsonn (2-4) registered multi-hit games as Moe’s bats continue to stay hot. @mattponatoski (1-3, RBI) also hit his first HR of the season, a shot to right field.
In the mound @jakegaerke got his first career start, going 3 innings, and striking out 5. @bigmoegraham came in relief, going another 3 innings and striking out 2. @PhilipGlotfelty closed things out, registering his first career save. As a unit, Big Moe only walked 2 batters.
