@pikedyer @CRichardsonTel @CharlieFelix It used to be the Ref would ask for the TMO but now the TMO refs the game from a distance with the benefit of numerous replays. I find myself turning off during games now, purely due to the TMO. Reffing should be based on instinct not time to analyse pictures and form an opinion

SA can consider themselves extremely lucky that the ref & touch judges didn’t pick this up, and that the TMO didn’t choose to.

Not sure about other angles, but the one we were shown on the TV broadcast looked pretty clear head to head.
