Over two thousand Christian ministers have signed a letter to the UK government, protesting against a ban on LGBT conversion therapy.
This account exists to name and shame them. If I tag the wrong person, I apologise; please let me know.

Trans rights are human rights. Stand in solidarity with the trans community. Add your signature to our letter to the Prime Minister, at https://t.co/K7MV7ip1ZK
Use your voice to end the psychological, spiritual & even physical harm trans people suffer just for being who they are!
'The powers that be in the @churchofengland would like us to accept that this is just an issue of differing “points of view” with each having equal merit, despite the harm that is inflicted on the lives of #LGBT+ people.
It won’t work!' @guardian

It is not good to see John Ortberg back in action.
He resigned because he knowingly allowed a man who was sexually attracted to children to supervise several children's events, including residential stays.
He should not return to leadership.
Listening to the lovely bells of Winchester, one of our great mediaeval cathedrals. So much nicer than the aggressive-sounding “Allahu Akhbar.” Or is that just my cultural upbringing?
@AlexeiRomanov13@smcganity @OnTheSpotNewsUK @LivEchonews Unnatural? No, not really. Unusual or different, yes.
Feel free not to use it to describe yourself, of course. I wasn't using it to describe you.
It's time to list the signatories. Those who do evil should not be allowed to do it in secret.

As I said: if I was a queer kid or a trans kid, I would not feel safe at Carshalton Evangelical Church.
Nobody should try to persuade people that they're the person you want them to be, instead of the person God made them.
Yes I signed a letter opposing this ban which would criminalise those who provide genuine & loving support & care to those who seek it.
I would be happy to sign another & will do all I can to look out for the vulnerable & those at risk of abuse from any quarter gay or straight.
@GalwayApe@Esteem_Engine@stellaomalley3 "Same sex attraction" is what religious conversion therapists call it.
The rest of us just call it being gay. And for the record: being trans doesn't necesssrily mean a "lifetime of medicine" either. Many of us choose hormone therapy, but it's not a requirement.

If, like me, you are a church leader who supports the proposed ban on conversion therapy, please consider joining me in signing this open letter. It only takes a minute to do.

I’ve been trying to work out what to say regarding *the letter*
I grew up in an evangelical church, my church became more conservative around the time I came out. Had this happened earlier, had I come out earlier, had conversion therapy been attempted I wouldn’t be alive
That letter opposing the ban of conversion therapy signed by 2500 church ministers and workers has made me cry. This is not the Christianity I know or have encountered. Time for this beautiful poem by @JayHulmePoet
