@Vols_865@RealJayWilliams I am watching, my man. The thing is, even if OKC wasn’t awarded a single free throw attempt in any game, they still win a ton. “Poor’ reffing as is the claim, doesn’t account for consistent 20, 30, 40 point blowouts. They aren’t good, they’re a great team.
Hilarious to see the juxtaposition between players and former players compared to the usual online discourse about OKC
Melo, Haliburton and Scottie Barnes have all poured cold water over the referee conspiracies
Think they’re more reasonable than your average grift account
@Vols_865@RealJayWilliams For the record, I hate the flopping. The one Chet had in GM 2 was ridiculous and I think the league really needs to tighten up the standards. But the reality is that’s part of the game right now whether we like it or not and EVERYBODY does it.
@Vols_865@RealJayWilliams Wait, you’re saying OKC is just a good team with an unfair advantage that makes them great? “Good” teams with unfair advantages don’t win championships. There’s no way the NBA, refs, whoever else, are tilting the scales toward a mid market team like OKC. Come on now.
@Vols_865@RealJayWilliams I don’t discount that point. My point is that people are mad cause it’s OKC. If what is perceived to be happening to OKC was happening to another fan’s favorite team, they wouldn’t be complaining. But this whole argument ignores the fact that OKC is great and wears teams out.
@RealJayWilliams Now do I think things need to improve, yes. I don’t like foul baiting, flopping, none of that. But what’s crazy, is that everyone thinks it’s only OKC doing it. Come on now. But yes, I think we should go back to stricter, more physical play. I loved 90’s, early 2000’s ball.
@RealJayWilliams Such a weak take and I like Jay. Are the calls perfect? No of course not. But OKC has only shot 4 more free throws than LA in two games. They’re winning by a whole lot more than that. People are mad just cause it isn’t their team winning.
Exactly what I’ve been saying this whole time. There is zero barrier to entry before security and all passengers are forced to gather before that invisible line. It’s creating the most obvious fish in a barrel scenario.
When are we going to have an honest conversation about the reality that massive crowds gathered before security screening create an obvious soft target?
@WassonWatch Man, I’m not so sure. Ideology runs deep, and they view our western comforts, our “secularism” and freedoms as anathema. An evil to be stamped out. And when martyrdom is held in such high regard, this may galvanize them even further in pursuit of Islamic conquest.
@5thestatepress@CredibleCrypto Certainly a fair point. I just like to approach it from a, “We’re all seeing the same price action over time, how do two respected TA’s come to such differing conclusions”. More for my own knowledge as I love learning about TA.
@MoonLamboio@Sargon_of_Akkad@MoonLamboio you can tell most people have not looked at an amortization table. The 50 year mortgage would have negligible benefits if at all and would not be the boon to the middle class people think it would. Just open up a loan calculator app. Your post is spot on.
