@ScarantinoX and additionally they told me it was some issue with the voltage applied to the electronic parking brakes every time you switch from drive/park and it wasn't perfect on some of the earlier versions so overtime it would cause them to make this noise. something like that.

@ScarantinoX i had this happen to my Y after about 50-60k miles and tesla replaced one of the rear brake calipers for about $600 and that solved it for me. they had tried to lubricate as well but didn't fix. mine was much louder than this but very similar noise when going into drive/park

@TeslaTruckClub interesting. i was thinking of changing in hope of getting closer to rated range (i get about 220mi out of my 21 LR Y) and for longer life of tires, i only get 25-30 out of the tires you can get for the 20s. 18s offer up to 80k warranty
