@thurrott Maybe this is too cynical (unlikely when talking about Apple) but I assume its simply them being cheap. Without the mini they only ever have to source 2 display sizes for each model year.

@JezCorden its baffling to me that this years offerings from MS are all the exact same shape/price. Where is the 360s/OneS type form factor improvement? I want to see how small they can make the Series S, its size and cost make it a differentiator!

@DestinLegarie pricing is just bizzarre this gen. People will try and claim its "inflation" but that makes no sense for the base PS5 and the Series S|X. At the very least the GPU's and storage should be MUCH cheaper to make than it was 4 years ago!

@DestinLegarie and to reference your recent conversation on Unlocked, a game like that wouldn't have been as successful as an exclusive. It required the largest possible player base to work. Same with Guitar Hero. A game built around songs from famous bands shouldn't be walled off in any way.
