@xin_xvi The game is just sanitized and scrubbed clean now. Its not political at all or “woke” or anything like that. Any sense of edge or darkness has been scrubbed out for the most harmless and uncontroversial story imaginable. Its boring, just councils everywhere with no identity
@Aedrareforged Great point. I understand from a design perspective that WoW needs a new foundation but there is 100% a better way to go about this than ruining a bunch of old beloved aspects of the lore. Why not go back to what made WoW’s story so interesting in the first place? New ≠ Better
@Aedrareforged The fact that their stories are relatively uninteresting (particularly the Haronir) certainly doesn’t help. Allied races like the Nightborne and Highmountain Tauren were exciting because they were built up by well crafted stories and zones.
@Knight10293847 I completely agree. Origins has such a different aesthetic when it comes to armor/enemies/architecture than DAI and Veilguard and I don’t want trust a remake to keep that.
@sinbadplays Khabib just retired too early, the post is not wrong in the sense that he has been overrated but thats only because he fought strikers and didn’t continue to fight as the division evolved. I don’t doubt he could beat anybody in the division now, but we’ll never know
I miss WoW Asmongold so bad, the Asmon I'd watch on my breaks in college when he'd do transmog runs and mount competitions.
I absolutely despise what he's turned into.
@Nirvanis01 Glad someone finally posted something like this. Legit my exact same thoughts, its disgusting seeing the change. Don’t listen to the hate comments I completely agree with you

For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.
We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.
From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.
