Bruno is always looking for the killer pass, the early cross, the final ball, and that’s why his numbers are consistently good. But sometimes he can become disconnected from the rhythm of the game because he’s constantly trying to force something.

The best attacking midfielders don’t just create chances, they dictate where the game is played. They slow it down when necessary, speed it up when necessary, receive under pressure, carry the ball into dangerous areas and constantly give their team a reference point in possession.

He can decide a game with one action, but he doesn’t always control the game through his involvement.
