The Dolphins most consistent weakness over the last 25 years has been VERY poor pass protection and quarterbacks with No Time to process the field...we finally address the problem and brain dead fans are losing their sht 😂😂
The CBS News segment on SPLC defrauding its donors and paying hate groups is wild.
“The SPLC was not dismantling these groups. It was instead manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose.”
Great reporting!
Greg Dulcich led all NFL TEs in average yards after the catch (7.6) and yards per target (10.2), and finished third in yards per catch (12.9)
He was Miami's third-leading receiver despite spending nearly 2 months on the practice squad. Didn't get his first target until Week 9
Steve and Sam react to the Dolphins signing Malik Willis for $67.5 M with $45 M guaranteed 😳
"It's the perfect contract for them, I love that move... it's basically a one year audition for him to be QB in Miami going forward."
Underrated aspect of the Malik Willis signing is the way he was treated by Mike Vrabel in Tennessee after the GM who drafted Malik was fired in his rookie season. See what Willis did to Vrabel’s team in 2024 when he got a chance at payback? Will face Vrabel twice a year, now.
One thing that is undeniable about Malik Willis: Amazing man.
Christian.
Class.
Handled adversity at Auburn and with Titans.
And remember that time he gave away his combine gear to needy person in Indianapolis
Shane Gillis had his dad in his podcast. His dad was telling stories about Shane getting in huge political fights at holidays with his liberal aunt. They said Shane will go into his Trump voice when they’re fighting just to make her more mad. Hilarious
BANNON: Full moratorium. Six months. Review every visa.
No H-1B indentured servitude. No cheap, compliant labor to undercut Americans.
America first means American citizens first.
You’re 26?
Brotha, the Dolphins haven’t even given you a gray hair yet.
This franchise has taken years off people’s lives.
I will likely die 10 years earlier than my life expectancy covering this team.
What if it’s nobody’s fault Tua’s body let Tua down by breaking down?
What if McDaniel’s offense would work really well with another more athletic, stronger-armed QB?
Not saying anything is for certain
But it’s worth considering
So here is something slow and contemplative to fit the shorter days and colder temperatures. This is Brendel playing the opening couple minutes from Schubert’s piano sonata in A Major - the Andantino, second movement, which itself is in F Sharp Minor, marking a dramatic shift in mood from the opening movement. It’s easy to follow as it’s in ternary form ABA - some opening music (what you hear in this clip) followed by some contrasting music, and a return to the primary theme. The entire sonata is well worth listening to, and contains lots of music which doesn’t have a tragic sensibility like this. Link to entire sonata in next post.
As an aside - if you’ve ever seen Haneke’s film The Piano Teacher, this music features prominently in it. Isabelle Huppert is very good in what is IMO an uneven but interesting work. But it isn’t for the faint of heart. Nothing of Haneke is for the faint of heart.
