I’m gonna accept Destiny 2 is gone but will not cancel my subscription for PS plus because of this as I’m mostly on PS since they’re making the games I like, I feel it’s mostly Pete Persons fault that Destiny is going through this. Nothing last forever

After the Bungie layoffs are completed and it becomes clear that Sony hasn’t green-lit anything to continue the franchise, I think there’s going to be a ripple effect that people may not be fully considering. One thing I expect to see is videos from players canceling their PlayStation Plus subscriptions. I’m already seeing comments across my social media.

It feels like there could have been a better way to handle this situation. The PlayStation ecosystem will change, I have no idea how little or how much.

@keronage @samikatplays Bungie was below the red line before the Sony acquisition. If it wasn’t acquired right then, the studio was very close to shutting its doors at the very least on Destiny. It was an emergency acquisition

@jingelhymer @Capnricky Yea I agree that this whole protest with asking for Destiny 3 can get annoying. I know they’re trying to make their point across but it’s gets old, Destiny 3 will come naturally and it takes patience. Don’t expect anything only to be disappointed in the end.

@MuItimach Well spoken, let people enjoy their games & not hate on the other, it’s getting old. I’m not happy about Destiny 2 going away either but all we can do is be patient until something good happens. I’ve moved on to other games & will still Destiny until I’m burned out.
