i'm a big advocate for learning fundamentals WHILE drawing for fun. study anatomy because you're drawing one of your faves shirtless. study perspective because you want to put a character in a cool room. why do we have to pretend like these are two separate things?

@peachlybeloved I saw a video investigating an artist for using ai (I think it ended up that they were anyway) and one of the points was that their lineart didn't perfectly match up with the sketch 💀 Like I fear that's just how art works
