If a movies purpose is to show the biblical reality of darkness and point to how Christ overcomes it all, the yes that is good. I’m thinking of something like Nefarious by @SteveDeaceShow.

But the majority of horror films about possessions or the demonic often just glorify it, teach unbiblical ideas, and do not point to Christ.

They leave the person watching with no real answers as to why this stuff happens or with them thinking it is so far fetched that the demonic isn’t real at all and it’s just a fantasy movie. So it ends up desensitizing us to the spiritual realm, which is why we see so many dabbling in dangerous witchcraft practices.
