[LA City Controller Kenneth Mejia @lacontroller]

Btw the money that they keep saying is being held for LAFD's raises are in this "separate account" HASN'T even been transferred to the LAFD's operating budget as of this date!

How do we know all this?

Because we're the City's Accountant! We know the City's budget and finances.

[William Piotrowski @billPiotrowski]

@bearmccreary The Conan and Edward Scissorhands scores are definitely on my list!

I'd add Wojciech Kilar's score to Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Start-to-finish buildout of a battlefield for @Modiphius Fallout built in Mirrorscape!

[mirrorscapexr @mirrorscapexr]

@James_M_Hewitt Hey @James_M_Hewitt ! Wanted to give you first look at the #Fallout assets the devs over at @mirrorscapexr have been building with! Would love to chat with you about it and why we're excited to be partnering up with @Modiphius to bring the world of Fallout to #AugmentedReality

[William Piotrowski @billPiotrowski]

@sethanikeem I appreciate it! Did you ever get a chance to investigate?

[William Piotrowski @billPiotrowski]

@sethanikeem This is cool on a lot of levels! I was not familiar with the artist and need to do a deeper dive, but the piece itself is fascinating! So many details and cultural references in addition to the winged helmet! Dig the Tatar reference as well.

[William Piotrowski @billPiotrowski]

@JoshuaDoetsch Thanks – let me know what you think if you do!

If you simply cannot build your tools—which you intend to profit directly off of, at great scale—without compensating or getting permission from those whose work is integral to creating those tools, you should not be building them at all

[William Piotrowski @billPiotrowski]

@navarroc0821 I'm sorry that you all have to put up with that. You are talented and I'm confident the right roles will find you.

Reminds me of this gem of a classic headline: https://t.co/5tTwIDfcfH

I work in an arcane field where the job requires specific technical knowledge, built on a ladder of understanding and breakthroughs going back over 100 years. It's not immunology but it's not nothing.

[William Piotrowski @billPiotrowski]

@ChrisLockey @dugstanat @MONSTERPALOOZA1 Love that piece! I must have gone back to that booth a half dozen times – such amazing work
