A large majority of Canadians now view the carbon tax as just a tax that makes life more unaffordable and does nothing for the environment.
Share if you agree it’s time to axe the carbon tax in 2023.

ANGRY ERUPTION
NDP Supporter EXPLODES over Former Ontario NDP deputy leader, Dolly Begum CROSSING the floor to the Liberals
MAN SAYS SHUT THE F**K UP
Then CALLS her a COWARD to her FACE
@CTVNews Canada loses its collective cool about 51st state…
But says European Union is cool after the news tells them about it in a nice way.
This is wild. What happened to sovereignty ?
I suggest you listen to @PierrePoilievre speak about his daughter Valentina.
He discusses how she's changed his view on politics and offers advice for parents of autistic children.
I can’t even anymore… How many embarrassing Canadian moments have gone viral this week alone?
An NDP convention consumed by ideological posturing, where purity tests matter more than practical solutions for Canadians.
An awards show, the Junos, that felt less like a celebration of music and more like a publicly funded service announcement, pushing messaging instead of showcasing artists.
And now, in the middle of a fatal aviation tragedy, the national conversation shifts from pilot deaths to language politics.
At some point, you have to ask:
What are we actually prioritizing?
Because this is not a distraction anymore. It’s a pattern.
We are choosing optics over reality. Narratives over facts. Performative debates over serious issues that actually affect people’s lives.
And if we can’t even focus on loss of life without turning it into a political talking point, then something is deeply off.
Not just with our institutions, but with us.
Because if we can’t tell what matters anymore, we shouldn’t be surprised when nothing does.
"It's special to see my name on the back of it."
@Str8OuttaCGY checked in with Zayne Parekh to talk about tonight's South Asian Celebration game, the special designed jersey and what it means to represent the South Asian community!
This needs to change.
In Canada, 10 provinces & 3 territories can hold bartenders accountable if the customers they over serve kill someone...
...but 0 regions hold Judges accountable if the criminals they release kill someone.
@nenshi Always spouting purely speculative crap. Can you please shock me just once suggest possible solutions to anything relevant. Huge salary, multiple pensions & this is what us hard working tax payers get?
This shouldn’t even be a debate. Far less deserving people have received the Order of Canada than Don Cherry. For decades he championed Canadian hockey, culture, and unapologetic pride in the country. Like him or not, few public figures have embodied and defended Canadian values
@nenshi Things seem pretty good in Alberta to me. Currently Alberta is the best performing province.
You should focus on being more positive & assist by being more cooperative.
Obviously when looking at the collapse of the federal ndp party you need to refocus your strategy.
@EleanorO_MP If I were a Liberal, I'd want to do everything I could to keep Canadians from reflecting on more than 10 years of @liberal_party waste, corruption, crime, homelessness, immigration, cost of living, etc., etc., too! 🖕🫵🤬
She is not wrong…. After a decade of Justin Trudeau’s Liberals many Albertans or for that matter Western Canadians obviously have extremely serious and legitimate grievances.
Premier Danielle Smith says Justin Trudeau relentlessly attacked Alberta's economy and way of life for 10 years, so she won't demonize the separatist voices for their grievances, but adds that she will work to show them that Canada works.
@Martyupnorth Previous to which Canadian canola producers were put up as sacrificial lambs for a non-existent EV market that the "Net Zero" elites were pushing in lockstep with the US administration.
We didn't get a deal, we just got back what was initially taken.
🚨 GLOBALISM JUST DIED IN DAVOS
Howard Lutnick just walked into the lion’s den — and told the World Economic Forum exactly what they didn’t want to hear.
“Globalism has failed.”
Not whispered.
Not softened.
Declared — on their own stage.
He dismantled the entire WEF doctrine in minutes:
• Offshoring hollowed out the West
• Cheap labor destroyed innovation
• Net Zero made Europe dependent on China
• Sovereignty begins with borders
• Nations must control their industry, energy, and medicine
Then came the line that shook the room:
“Why would Europe agree to Net Zero when they don’t even make a battery?”
That’s the truth globalists can’t answer.
Green agendas without industry.
Climate pledges without sovereignty.
Moral posturing while outsourcing power to Beijing.
America First isn’t isolation.
It’s independence.
And Lutnick made it crystal clear:
The old model is finished.
The globalist experiment has failed.
And the future belongs to nations that put their people first.
Davos just heard the obituary — live.
Ginny Roth on Carney's speech in Davos
"And then the bigger problem for me was the pivot to Canada and what we're doing. And I thought that was honestly a wild exaggeration and just not at all true."
"Like this idea that we've removed interprovincial trade barriers, we have not."
"This idea that we've invested in the military, we have not. There's not even appropriated funds, let alone spend funds to get defense spending to where it needs to be."
"The idea that we're getting natural resources to market, that we're driving billions in investment, none of this is true. It's all talk."
"But eventually he's going to get off a plane in Ottawa and Canadians are going to start to say, like, okay, now what? When does the rubber hit the road?"
"Like none of the actions actually speak to the urgency that he's gesturing at." @GinnyRothTO
@nenshi In your multi decade political career with multiple pensions, is it 2 or 3 from the City of Calgary alone what have you done to truly help Albertans?
I guess when a politician fails miserably all thats left is to desperately attack the opposition.
