A new federal report just came out alleging that a Minnesota postal worker died after police officers and jail staff ignored clear signs he was suffering from a massive stroke. Kingsley Bimpong was jailed instead of being hospitalized because he is black.
I would like to express my gratitude to all the peace-loving, freedom-loving patriots and pan-Africanists who rallied around the world on Wednesday April 30, 2025 to support our commitment and our vision for a new Burkina Faso and a new Africa, free from imperialism and neo-colonialism.
Your active solidarity and this demonstration of sympathy strenghtens our conviction that the fight we are waging for a fairer and more equitable world is justified.
We will never bend our backs in the face of adversity; we will stand firm until our peoples are truly emancipated. With you, we are certain that victory over the forces of evil is at hand.
Together, in solidarity, we will defeat imperialism and neo-colonialism for a free, dignified and sovereign Africa.

UK HAND IN GHANA COUP REVEALED
Newly declassified documents confirm that the UK had a hand in the 1966 coup against Ghana’s first president, pan-Africanist Kwame Nkrumah.
We spoke to investigative journalist Mohamed El Maazi, who talked us through how London orchestrated a covert propaganda campaign through journals, pamphlets and fabricated groups - all with the aim of destabilising Nkrumah's leftist government. Their goal was to replace him with a regime that aligned with Western political and economic interests.
Maazi explains how Nkrumah’s efforts to unite Africa and fight against colonialism, apartheid and Western control in Africa angered Britain and the US, leading to an intensified campaign to overthrow him.
FOREIGN-OWNED MINE POLLUTES KEY RIVER IN ZAMBIA
A huge spillage of mining waste has polluted two key rivers in Zambia - destroying crops and farmers’ livelihoods in the process. It’s reignited debate over the flagrant disregard for safety and environmental regulations by multinational corporations operating in Africa. The breach happened at the Chinese-owned Sino Metals Leach Zambia Ltd. copper mine. Zambia, Africa's second-largest producer of copper, has suffered several environmental disasters caused by foreign mining companies. It’s a double tragedy for local communities, which rarely see the benefits of their mining activities - with most of the revenue ending up in bank accounts abroad. Foreign mining companies are also accused of engaging in widespread tax avoidance schemes. For instance, in 2021, British NGO Oxfam revealed that Anglo-Swiss mining giant Glencore, which operated in Zambia for over two decades, only paid $28 million in taxes from 2011 to 2018, despite raking in revenues of more than $6 billion during that period.
By now, many of us must have watched the BBC Africa Eye documentary about the crazy opioid crisis starting to overwhelm West Africa.
1. Recap: a chap by name Vinod Sharma runs a pharma company in India called Aveo that has "invented" a poison by mixing two powerful drugs - tapentadol & carisoprodol. The formulation has not been approved anywhere in the world and is thus GLOBALLY ILLEGAL.
2. Aveo and some other Indian companies are flooding countries like Ghana & Nigeria with this concoction under brands such as Timaking, Tafrodol, & Super Royal-225. They are also shipping in ILLEGAL, high-dosage, forms of tapendatol & carisoprodol as standalone drugs.
3. Vinod acknowledges candidly to the undercover journalists that tafrodol, for instance, is poisonous. However, in his words, "it is has become a business."
4. He further reveals that Nigeria has tightened its borders and Ghana is now the easiest channel to get his cute poisons into West Africa (food for thought for all you Ghanaians who think Ghana has the most superior systems in West Africa.)
5. I think I also heard him say that he can churn out 5 million pills at a go. Dude is a machine!
6. All the craziness above, something else , that was not discussed further in the documentary, is what truly blew my mind. Even before the documentary aired. It is Samospharma's role as Ghana's biggest opioid importer.
7. Customs data and intelligence shows that a large chunk of the tafrodol, tapendatol & carisoprodol batches imported into Ghana is financed by Sahelian merchants, mostly based in Niamey. However, one Ghanaian company stands head to toe with them: Samospharma.
8. By November 2024, Samospharma had imported more than $6 million of opioids and other drugs from PRG Pharma of India, for instance. It also imported perfectly legal "eye drops" from the likes of Zuche and Indiana Pharma.
9. As was shown in the documentary, Samospharma and its three founsers are the main business partners of Vinod and Aveo in Ghana, as well as of Aveo's sister company, Westfin. Of the $20 million worth of opioids that Aveo has shipped to the region in recent times, Samospharma was responsible for about 12%.
10. Why was I completely bewildered by this? Three reasons. First, the founders of Samospharma are behind acclaimed platforms like DrugNet, and have been industry advisors to Ghana's national e-pharmacy portal. They are respected in the pharmacy profession for their youthful acumen and public engagements.
11. Second, their core work at DrugNet and through various industry initiatives has focused on tightening supply chain and quality assurance, subjects that I know a bit about. Their involvement in this whole saga simply doesn't add up.
12. Most bewildering of all, they have NOT been smuggling in these opioids. They have been OPENLY importing them into Ghana. Attached, see a list of bills of lading covering some recent shipments. The Ghanaian authorities have been authorising clearance even though Samospharma hasn't registered any of these products with the FDA.
13. I was thus shocked when the authorities attempted to throw the importers under the bus in their interviews with the BBC. It is very clear that Ghana is happily letting these opioid through. Even now. Despite the loud protests about the addiction epidemic opioids are causing. Despite the occasional seizures and bonfires. Ghana's ports remain open.
14. What exactly is the national policy here? 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
I have searched for this book for more than 3 years and I can’t find a copy anywhere! It’s crazy to me that we never studied any of Nkrumah’s books or life at any level of our education. This is a man that we’re still eating and living off his legacy.

BuzStopBoys, Zoomlion and Bloggers
*********************************************
Someone has drawn my attention to a meeting between Ghanaian bloggers/influencers and Zoomlion and its CEO.
Governments since Kufuor have siphoned billions of cedis from different ministries to multiple Jospong companies (mainly Zoomlion) in the name of sanitation. Many of these contracts are tainted with corruption. The country remains filthy, but the politicians claim they cannot cut Zoomlion's monopoly because Jospong has the resources.
They lie, forgetting that when the Kufuor administration sidelined City and Country Waste and other well-established sanitation companies in 2006 and awarded shady, nationwide sanitation contracts to Zoomlion, Zoomlion had no equipment and resources to compete. Out of those contracts, the company acquired resources. If any other company got the opportunity Zoomlion had, it would be resourceful.
Today, some young men called @buzstopboys have emerged with almost bare hands and a willingness to keep Accra clean. Their work appears more impactful than Zoomlion, which makes hundreds of millions every year from sanitation contracts.
In this video, Elder Jospeh Siaw Agyepong, CEO of Zoomlion, is seen in a meeting with bloggers, and BuzStopBoys is the subject of this discussion. Zoomlion intends to donate to them, and as the female official says, the bloggers would publicise it widely.
I call on BuzStopBoys to reject Zoomlion's support. Don't allow Zoomlion to take credit for your work. Our so-called leaders should do the sensible thing by giving resources to those who can do the job and not those who rely on bloggers and media hype while the country remains filthy.
The assemblies should be given back their resources to manage sanitation instead of the government channeling the funds to Zoomlion. If the assemblies need services, they can hire groups like BuzStopBoys to help.
Please, watch the video and share.
