@YankeeGunner Let’s be real. If we start overpaying, every club will demand outrageous prices for future players like they do from Chelsea or United. It’s not sustainable. I know fans are emotional and Rice is a top target but there are other players who’d boss out in our system! Not worried

@GeeraertsJonas @afcjxmes Yea mate, all that is possible. It’s obviously a fluid system. When White pushes higher, Havertz will be more central. Otherwise I feel like Havertz has enough cover to link up with Martinelli, Jesus and Ode. That’ll be a deadly combo imo with all of them making runs into the box

@Messiin99 @afcjxmes Well, his job is whatever Arteta wants him to do. Plus he played mostly as an AM back in his Leverkusen days. I feel Havertz will be more attacking than Xhaka (contingent on us securing Rice)

@Messiin99 @afcjxmes Why not? Havertz has very good ball retention just like Xhaka. Has a higher workrate. Has more of a scorer’s instinct and is taller if he has to score with his head. Xhaka’s IQ might be higher but that depends on how quickly Havertz adapts to the system. Thoughts?

@GeeraertsJonas @afcjxmes He is mate. He’ll play that False 9/Hybrid 8 role. Linking up with Martinelli, Jesus, Odegaard & Rice (Hopefully). Last season, Xhaka had his best season in terms of output coz of how Arteta wants him to move forward. Now Havertz will start making those runs instead! Excited
