This is what happened on the 6th floor of the Nesbett Courthouse during the Anchorage #earthquake. Both attorneys jumped under their desks. Evacuated the building after the shaking stopped.

@HeatherHintze Can't say for sure, but I think a shaker like this would have flattened buildings 50 years ago. This building looks fairly new and modern from the inside, and I'm guessing modern construction standards played a role in its survival.
