I’m very excited about my new assignment at Jacksonville State Univeristy as a Special Assistant to the President, Dr Don Killingsworth. The past 2 years I have been Assistant Athletic Director, and Director of Broadcasting, truly a dream job for a little kid who grew up only a few miles from campus. I excited about continuing to promote and grow Jax State into the world class institution that it is! #staycocky

My 87 year old Mother-in-law decided she wanted to "drive" the Cybertruck today so we went for a quick spin on FSD 14.2.2.5

She hasn't driven a car for 5 years so she was stoked.

"It's amazing!" 😁

‼️GAME UPDATE‼️

#EmbraceTheGrind | #AKC

[Bill Bubba Bussey @BillBubbaBussey]

Thank you all so much for your prayers, concerns and checking on me.

Full story:
I had a full knee replacement on Aug 13th. After remarkable results I got an incision infection that required follow up wound closure surgery back in Chicago. The joint was not infected just the incision.

Just as the stitches were coming out from my 2nd surgery, I also lost ability to put pressure on my new knee, and began a low level fever.

I was ordered back to Chicago for follow up testing which reveled an infected joint. It required emergency same day surgery to clean out the joint.

After a week stay, I have returned home with a wound VAC and PICC line for direct I.V. antibiotics.

Hopefully this will do the trick! It has been a long struggle that has taken its toll on me and my family physically and mentally, but we are home and trying to rest up and recover. So far so good!

Infection rates for joint replacements are incredibly low between 1-2 % nationally. But do happen.

I ask for your continued prayers, we know Jesus Christ is the ultimate doctor and I Iay all of this, and everything else at his feet.
