Pure cowardice from the D.C. Council. Corruption in this city costs people their livelihoods every day. Trayon White accepted $35,000 in cash from a government contractor, with the exchanges caught on FBI video. Prosecutors say the money was tied to influencing city contracts.

The Council expelled him once over this conduct. Now members reportedly don’t have the votes to do it again. Why? What changed? Taxypayers deserve so much better.
