There is always something good in everything, I thank God my 3 year old grandson was not at the house today during the swatting.
He was supposed to be there.
God is Good!
Thank you to all those who served. We admire your compassion for our country and appreciate all the sacrifices that you experience on a daily basis.
God bless America, God bless our troops! 🇺🇸
Navajo Codetalker, Roy Hawthorne USMC. This elder walked a two mile parade route. Two Navajo Marines helped him through the last half mile. Much honor and respect. 🇺🇸
Sergeant Kendra Coleman joined the Army in 2007 and deployed to Afghanistan in 2009 as an
MP, after earning her Airborne wings as a paratrooper.
On April 4, 2010, Coleman was riding in a vehicle when it hit an IED. She suffered traumatic brain injury and hearing loss from the explosion.
Rather than be sent to Germany for treatment, Coleman remained with her fellow soldiers in country. Just over a month later, Coleman was on a foot patrol when another lED detonated beneath her. The explosion caused another TBI, internal damage, and tore off her left leg.
She survived these blasts and returned home, becoming medically retired from the Army. In 2012, the non-profit Helping A Hero donated a new, specially adapted home to Coleman and her husband in honor of her service and sacrifice.
