@mettalrose My answer to this is not to be the only, or primary, giver...but to work to build a robust feedback culture among the group. That also is bolstered by the evidence on learning that it is *giving* feedback that is among the most valuable things to do.
@MereSophistry@SethLargo@DLib24 I would add that a fine version of "getting better" in my formulation is simply "making the sort of writing I will likely be doing easier, less stressful, more efficient"...all fine by me.
@SethLargo@DLib24@MereSophistry I wasn't thinking of students so much as...most folks who have writing to do of some kind. I agree that student status *should* imply a desire to improve.
